Hummus with chickpeas

Ingredients:
300 gr. (10.5) chickpeas
1 tbsp. cooking soda
125 ml. (4.2 fl oz) tahini
1/4 of a cup lemon juice
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 of a cup water or more if needed
salt to taste
4 tbsp. olive oil
1 pinch of cumin
1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
some pink pepper grains
Instructions:
Soak the chickpeas from the previous night (for 6-8 hours) in water in which we have added 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Drain and rinse with cold water. In a large saucepan, boil the chickpeas until soft (about 1.5 - 2 hours).
